WHY FIRST RESPONDERS NEED HELP

More First Responders die by suicide than line of duty deaths. For many years the mental and brain health of First Responders has gone unaddressed. The lack of resources and outdated systems of dealing with the rise in mental health issues for First Responders is contributing to the breakdown of this population of public servants and their families.

First Responder Peace & Refuge Foundation has identified the many areas in which a quick and evidenced based intervention would significantly decrease the number of First Responder suicides, therefore, enriching the lives of the people that protect our citizens and risk their lives everyday in our country.

Through our professional experience over the last 25 years, Our team of first responders and board certified clinicians know exactly what treatment modalities work and how to provide them to First Responders and their families. We understand that First Responders are highly underserved with the right mental/brain health resources.

We also understand the red tape , underfunded agencies and barriers are costing the lives of our First Responders. We are here to stand in the gap for those who sacrifice everything for our safety.
