RESOURCES FOR YOU
It’s time we talk about tools.
In Episode 116 of After the Tones Drop, join me for the kind of conversation that doesn’t flinch.
We dig into what actually helps:
🧠 SGB shots
🌀 EMDR
📿 Meditation
🤝 Real community
…plus the raw truth about what it really takes to keep healing—long after the uniform comes off.
This isn’t just about surviving the job.
It’s about learning how to live after.

1. Look at Your Story Honestly.
Before you can heal it, you have to name it. Your trauma. Your patterns. Your past. Stop hiding behind the uniform and take inventory. It`s all there.
2. Stop Waiting for the “Right” Solution.
SGB, EMDR, neurofeedback, psilocybin retreats—there’s no one-size-fits-all. What matters is starting somewhere and staying in it. Pick something and start.
3. Build a Crew You Trust.
Matty didn’t do this alone. None of us do. Find your people—peers, therapists, recovery partners—who get it and don’t flinch when it gets hard.
4. Keep Showing Up.
You don’t heal once. You heal daily. Mental health isn’t a weekend seminar—it’s maintenance, movement, and meaning over time.

Still healing. Still human. Still here.
Matty Fiorenza doesn’t sugarcoat the struggle—because perfection doesn’t help people. Presence does.
He’s not preaching from a pedestal.
He’s sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with the ones still in the fight.
If you’ve ever thought, “I should be further along by now,”
this one’s for you.
